hello?? can someone help me please
That theme appears to be VERY outdated – so it’s unlikely to work well:
http://wordpress.org/themes/shocking
Your best bet is to find a more current theme – there are lots of them here:
http://wordpress.org/themes/
Also, this does not appear to be a valid/working URL: pink-sole.com

sorry bout that forgot the “s” so it’s pink-soles.com and that’s not the only theme that gets messed up. I’ve tried 3 other themes yet they get messed up too
Try deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the twentytwelve theme to see if it works okay there.

when looking at the image of what it should look like and then looking on my page and it doesn’t look right. at least the posting area is where it should be.
Most themes don’t look at all like the demo until you’ve added content and set up theme options, etc. Is the site basically working now?

yea basically yet it’s not the look/color that I want thou
Well, now we know that your installation of WordPress itself is okay – so now look for a theme you like here:
http://wordpress.org/themes/
Then use your Dashboard to search for it and install it – then you can start customizing it the way you want.

all the themes I have that have messed up are on there. they end up putting different colors on the site that I don’t want. also I have a hard time using the editor to the coding of the theme cuz I have no clue in what i’m doing in order to try and fix the coloring or anything else. I do thank you for trying to help me out 🙂
If you are changing code in the editor, that’s likely messing things up. You also should not modify any theme files – as your changes will be lost when the theme is updated. The way to change theme files is by using a child theme –
http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
If you need help making changes, you should ask for help once you’ve picked out a theme… because CSS is theme-specific, it’s impossible to help in general terms. And if there is something wrong with a theme, that’s theme-specific too – so we’d need to look at the actual site with the problem.

when I do make any changes it’s small(like color or to fix the posting area to the right place) so if it doesn’t work I am able to change it back to the way it was. the reason I started changing things in the editor was cuz it was messed up in the first place. if it had worked like it was suppose to I wouldn’t of gotten into the editor
If you are only going to make CSS changes, use a custom CSS plugin – but don’t modify theme files – your changes will be lost when the theme is updated.
