• Hello,
I seem to have this issue every time I try to change a theme.
I change it in the themes section of the dashboard and although it says the theme is active, it’s not showing up on my actual blog (battysblog.com). I cleared the cache (I thought that’s what I did last time to fix this), but it didn’t help.

This time I’m trying to use the F8 Remix theme from GraphPaper.com (and I’ve installed the parent theme it requires). (F8 Remix: http://graphpaperpress.com/themes/f8-remixed/)

Here’s a screen cap of what my blog keeps showing up like when I try to change themes:

I’m sure there’s something simple I’m missing and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance 🙂

    Jamie

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Ah ha! Yes, I think I did have to deactivate a plugin last time!
Thanks, I’ll give your suggestions a try!

The list suggestion, changing the folder name via FTP, worked!
I’ll see able renaming it back to “plugins” after getting the theme customized to my liking.

Thanks so much for your help!

P.S. … Turns out Jet Pack was the problem.
