[resolved] Theme not showing (5 posts)

I've searched for this but only found one answer that didn't address my problem. Earlier today my theme was showing fine..I went to options and added heroindiares.com to my blog name..hit 'update,'and it hasn't shown up since. I see my blog but it's straight forward print without a theme. Cannot access my dashboard either. The onlyy other thing I did was add some art.com pictures to my sidebar previous to the option change but it seemed to work fine right after that.

There are other blogs on our server..checked them out and they are working fine.

Any ideas what I did wrong.

If I understood that, it sounded like you said you modified your URI value(s) and things stopped working?

Based on a peek in the source, you mistyped your actual URI.

This tutorial (along with phpMyAdmin) will help you get that fixed: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

Thanks for replying..I'm fairly new at all this..so bare with please. No I didn't change the blog address..just the title..of the blog in the space provided for in options.

    It used to say
"Lady Mary Blackchurch ~diary of a dope fiend~
Those the Gods Destroy They First Make Proud"

Now it still says that..but I added "heroindiaries.com" in wp/admin/options..in the place provided for there..then hit 'update.'

So it looks like this now:

"Lady Mary Blackchurch ~diary of a dope fiend~
Those the Gods Destroy They First Make Proud heroindiaries.com."

That's all I did..with the exception of adding a few art.com links to the sidebar..but it worked fine after that.

The place you sent me to says "Change 'site_url' and 'home' values" I'm afraid to go in and change anything as I'm not sure what I'm doing..do you think the blog title change caused this..and when you click on my blog do you see a theme?

I cannot access the phpMyAdmin or anything other than the first page in wp/admin..

P.S. Do I try and attempt this change from an FTP client?

Thanks again Hans..was finally able to resolve this as you said. It had nothing to do with anything I entered in the title or sidebar. I had somehow deleted the 'com' under Wp/admin/options/wordpress URL.

Once it was put back in everything was fine.
