Theme not compatible with latest wordpress V 4.5.2?

    I went to upgrade my site yesterday before playing with some plugins and I received one of the dreaded fatal error messages. My webhost says it’s because the theme is not compatible with 4.5.2. Is this true? If so, are there plans to upgrade the theme as well?

    It is compatible, but you have to stick to a certain order of updating. Ther is another thread concerning this issue. I set up my Website again from scratch and everything is working fine.

    The latest version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

    If you are using a version of WordPress newer than WordPress 4.4 then you have to make sure you are using a version of the sliding door theme newer than 3.2.2.

    In all cases this will be resolved if you simply make sure that your WordPress is updated to the latest version ( which it always should be) and that the theme is also upgraded to the latest version ( which it also should be).
