# Theme not activating

 * I recently had to reinstall WordPress. I having trouble with themes. The basic
   themes seem to be installing, but a previously active theme isn’t working – all
   that appears is a blank page.
 * I was using this theme previously and I reinstalled it several times.
 * Any assistance would be appreciated.

 * 1. have you updated WordPress recently?
    2. Have you added any new plugins recently.
   3. When you reinstalled the plugin did you delete the plugin folder and then 
   re-upload or just overwrite? 4. as above, what is the name of the theme.

 * am having similar problem. when I try to activate a new them it seems to connect
   to the existing them so the same one just keeps appearing.
 * VERY new to all this so quite possible something I have done, but if you could
   help would avoid much confusion and possible damage to computer…

 * Hi sorry for the late reply on this:
 * The theme is a Gorilla theme called Mainstreet. I have not updated WP recently
   and there are no new plugins.
 * When I re-installed, I deleted the plugin folders and re-uploaded.
