# Theme nor plugins will delete or update

 * I am trying to update a new version of my wordpress template, but it will not
   allow me to delete the theme. I tried to delete my super cache plugin, but it
   will not delete or update.
 * I get the following message:
    Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could
   not fully remove the plugin(s) wp-super-cache/wp-cache.php.
 * for the theme is says: Theme deleted.
    but I refresh and it’s still there

 * Before deleting the theme, first activate another theme. then try to delete.
 * If you still can’t delete, use an FTP client such as FileZilla (Free) to login
   to your web host navigate to:
    your website’s folder > wp-content > themes and
   then delete only the theme that you want to delete. Be carefully while deleting.
