  • Resolved sheeeeeeets

I have an online form setup that will automatically email itself to our helpdesk system upon submission. In tweaking some things, I was able to implement Javascript that would allow users to mouse over ? in the field and would bring up a picture (description) of the field they hovered over.

This IS working, but the popup appears UNDER the words on the page. I kinda think it’s somewhere in the CSS, with a z-index command, but I think I set the ones I could find in a few CSS files to 9999 and still it appears below words and clear.

Anyone know where I would set this? Kind of frustrating being so close, yet so far away. Can’t wait to get this up and roll it out 🙂

If you need anything else, please let me know.

Edit: I placed the entire form in an html with all the same javascript calls and such, and it works properly. Has to be in the CSS of the theme somehwre, as a z-index setting or something….

  • Had a second pair of eyes on it, and they added a z-index to the javascript that called the image. Worked like a charm!
