Using the Monet theme as a portfolio presentation, I am having some trouble creating a static home page. I was hoping to display just the Featured Content image slider seen on the current home page with no blog format posts below. I know to a seasoned wordpress user this may be easier to resolve with a static page, but I was wondering if there is a way to set up varying reading settings.

    I would prefer to have:

Settings > Reading > Blog Pages show at most: 10 Posts

*Settings > Reading > Home Page shows at most: 0 posts*

The first one is set but the second is not an option. Is this something I could accomplish in the CSS editor or would I have to make a static homepage?
