[Theme: Mantra] slider stuck loading

Forgive me if I missed the answer to this somewhere. I am fairly new still to WP and building using CSS and java. I love this theme and have tried over and over (without success or I wouldn’t be asking) to get the front slider to load my recent 4 posts. Initially when I loaded this theme, it worked, but somehow in my building this week, it stopped working. It now is “stuck loading” (the lovely circle going around and around like it wants to load), no matter how long I leave the page open for, if I refresh, what computer I am on, etc.

Any any any help would be greatly appreciated.
