Okay, I’ve been messing with the CSS for a while now, and I can’t figure it out. Here’s the site: freeish.net/msp/.
When I installed Mantra Theme v. 1.8.9, I got a completely new positioning issue:
I have a three column layout with the sidebars on either side of the main content in the center. Or, that’s the way it used to look. In fact, on every page of my site except for the home page, the two sidebar columns are scrunched over to the right, and the content is on the left. The home page is perfectly fine.
I’ve been comparing the source of these pages, and the only major difference I can discover is that the home page’s source code is ordered in this way: sidebar1, sidebar2, content. And the sub-pages’ source is ordered like this: content, sidebar1, sidebar2. I’ve tried floating the various elements in all possible ways, as far as I can tell. By floating the content right, I can get the sidebars to move over to the left. But I can’t get one on each side like I want them.
Okay, thanks very much in advance for you help. Sorry for the longwindedness.
The mantra theme has 4 sidebar widget areas. You have sidebar widget area 1, sidebar widget area 2, sidebar 2 widget area 1, etc. You have to make sure your content is divided into the appropriate places in the widget area to seperate the sidebars.
Hope this helps.
