Theme Images not loading iMac

    Hey, So basically the problem is that images aren’t loading correctly for my Mac but testing the same exact theme, literally the same folders and everything the theme images load for my windows computer. I have tested with both free themes directly downloaded from WordPress as well as some custom themes that have been purchased at an earlier date. I have no clue on what might be making the images not load on my Mac but it is very annoying and id like to get it fixed as soon as possible, any help is appreciated! 😀

    Hi I am having the same problem with loading media for site identity and background images.
    It seems very variable, sometimes they load, othertimes not.

    it is annoying. It started yesterday when I moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org but I do not know if this is actually the problem or the recent OS update.

    Hi @vemigod,

    I think my issue is solved, thanks for reminding me to post about it!

    One part of the problem was related to the image directory in my hosting space, after all the moving about, I do not know what specifically was wrong, but the great guys at directNIC ‘corrected’ it.

    The other part of the problem (or perhaps whole of it) was that the photoshop version I am running (Adobe Photoshop Elements 6) seems to have become unstable with subsequent operating system on the Mac (now OSX El Capitan) version 10.11.1 and the function Save For Web I was using did not save the images correctly, I think.
    I then decided to directly resize the images and save them normally as .jpg and things seems to work..

    As usual, it is difficult to say if my problem was one or a combination of a few.
