Support » Theme: Local Business » Theme – how to alter the readable width of the website?

  • My website: http://www.becomeadabhand.co.uk
    My theme is Local Business
Would someone please have a look at this for me? I am a little frustrated with what looks like the wasted space round my website itself. I do like to see the space but the GREY area is so huge. I am happy to keep the main reading area in the middle of the screen but I could use the space around the outside. I was comparing it to WORDPRESS EDIT where there are panels down either side where stuff is going on, not for reading just more for reference.

Am I allowed to I change it?
    How do I do this?
This is my first website so be kind 🙂

    Kind regards Audrey

  • I think the size is as it is to give the viewer some wiggle room when looking at your site

The user canuse the Ctrl + to increase the page and Ctrl – to reduce the size

You could use a photo of one of your painting for a Background image, see

    About

I really like that site, and can see what you mean, but I just need to make it wider as I want to put some things, dropdown menus down the sides.
    Thank you for replying 🙂
