# [Theme: Hey, Cookie] Header & Drop-Down Menu??

 * Just installed “Hey, Cookie” {love it!} and I can’t figure out where to configure
   a header slider image like the one in the example: [http://heycookie-demo.calobeedoodles.com/](http://heycookie-demo.calobeedoodles.com/)
 * I also can’t see the option for a drop-down menu or how to configure that.

 * You can configure the slider by following the instructions outlined in the theme’s
   readme (download the theme from the repo directly, then unzip it and look for
   readme.txt).
 * You can configure a drop-down menu by creating and assigning a custom menu to
   the navigation area under Appearance -> Menus.
 * You can change the number of posts displayed on the front page by going to Settings-
   > Reading (“Blog pages show at most…”)

 * You can do this in a [child theme](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes) using
   [CSS](http://codex.wordpress.org/CSS). A tool like [Firebug](http://www.getfirebug.com/)
   works great for stuff like this–you can right-click on the site to Inspect the
   areas you want to change and find the pieces of the stylesheet that need to be
   changed.
