  • Hi there, I’ve been working with Grid Theme Responsive for my website http://www.londondrumstudio.com for just under a week now.

Posts appear in a grid fashion with the thumbnail only. There is a jquery function so that the title, caption and a background colour of are displayed when the mouse hovers over the post thumbnail.

I want to modify the code so that the reader sees the post-title on top of the thumbnail before hovering, and the caption and background colour are added upon hovering. I think this will be clearer to the reader as to which post is which, rather than just seeing the thumbnail image on its own initially.

I’ve been analysing the code for hours now tring to work out which part of the whole website needs to be modified. I’m new to wordpress and not a experienced with php. Should I be looking at the theme_functions.php, categories_page.php, stylesheet or the jquery.hover_caption.js codes?

Let me know if you need any code examples

    Thanks in advance!
    Nick
