Support » Fixing WordPress » Theme Green Track – Search.php :(

  • I had downloaded a theme “Green Track” from now there a lil bug i think , the theme was modified from kubrick theme so the author didnt edit the search.php properly .
When something is searched there was a error, the error was <?php include "kubrick-searchform.php"; ?> in search.php, now i changed it to <?php include "search.php"; ?>

this instead of showing the previous "Could not Connect" error shows a page with many lines decreasing in size and page keeps loading . I cant figure it out .
this only happens when no result is drawn.

  • Shouldn’t it be <?php include ( 'searchform.php'); ?> or something like that? Including the search.php in search.php will call itself endlessly, I guess…
    Actually I use this <?php include (TEMPLATEPATH . '/searchform.php'); ?>

I copied searchform.php from the default directory into the Green directory and it works fine, just change the kubrick-searchform.php to read searchform.php

    Ok done thanks ! 🙂
