  • Don’t paste content from Microsoft Word into WordPress as the pasted text will also contain Word’s own formatting. Sooner or later, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all) in Internet Explorer. If you cannot possibly manage without Word, paste your text into NotePad (or another text editor) first, then copy from NotePad into WordPress.

Or use the inbuilt Paste from Word option in the Visual Editor.

    Or use Windows LiveWriter.

Thank you. I wasn’t aware of that. What do you suggest I do to make it display properly? Should I go back and recheck everything?

yes, go back, and edit your posts — thats all you can do really.

    Hi,

Something else must be going on. I went back and uninstalled WP. Then reinstalled to start all over. The same thing is happening. The header doesn’t show its graphics.

I have no idea as to what can be going on.

I can’t even see the themes in the admin panel under manage themes. Nothing shows. I wish I had known an uninstall wouldn’t help before I did it.

Now I really regret starting over.

Nothing is showing up in WP. I am trying to rebuild the pages and the buttons in the page editor aren’t showing so I can’t even click on them because there is nothing there but a blank box.

I finally got it built back up, but it is still not showing. This is from a fresh install and I promise I didn’t use Word. I used text edit.

    You’re missing the header image:

    /wp-content/themes/magicblue/images/headerbg.jpg.
