[Theme: Graphene] Excerpt color too dark in diaporama

  • We are using the diaporama on the homepage, display style is background image with excerpt.

    we wanted to customize our excerpts (instead of the automatic excerpt). but when we did that the color is much darker and cannot be read with this greyish background.

    on automatic excerpt, the color is white which is great.

    we tried to find the CSS code for that color but couldn’t!
    is this a bug?

    without a link to your site, to see the issue live, there is not much to suggest.

    you could try working with a web tool such as firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to find the responsible css styles.

    thanks,

    here it is http://janickmagne.fr/
    1st and 3rd article of the diaporama have a custom excerpt and the excerpt text is too dark. others article are just white as it should be.

    i might try to use firebug, thx

    Add this to your custom CSS or child theme style sheet:

    .full-sized .slider-entry-wrap {
        background: #FFFFFF;
    }

    Change the #FFFFFF to whatever color code you would like.

    Thank you!

    what i actually wanted is the text white so I put the following code instead:

    .full-sized .slider-entry-wrap {
        color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    and it works perfectly. (I think it was a bug worth correcting in a future release if any)
