Theme functions.php change has borked my site

  • Hi, I received an error when trying to add an image to my post: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id()
I googled the error and found what was supposed to be a fix. Add this code to my theme’s functions file: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id()

When I added it the site was down entirely. I removed and now half the site is down. The functions file was empty when I added the line of code.
Not sure what to do now? this is my site http://www.musiciansmash.com

  • when i mess up a php document i always save it first so then you can put it back in, go download the theme ur using to ur desktop, open the php file you edited and simply copy and paste it all.

    hope this helps

I had a back-up I was able to use but looks like I have to reload all widgets and sidebars.
