• Hello Sir,

I am currently using the tourpackage theme in wordpress. In this theme I have got some options like Add Package, Add Gallery, Add Testimonials, Add Price Table, Add Portfolio. Is there any way that I can incorporate these functions into another theme and use them.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Yes you can. You will need to find the code that controls those areas, and move it to be included in your new theme. It won’t be quick or easy, especially if you’re not good in PHP coding, but it is possible.

As catacustic said, you can. However, the theme is a copyrighted work. Depending on how such status is enforced where you or your server are located or do business, doing so may be illegal. Just sayin’. I’m not the copyright police, IANAL, and I don’t care what you do.

All themes and plugins are copyright, but anything that’s in the repositories on this site is licensed withthe GPL which means that you can copy, modify and re-use the code as you wish as long as any original copyright statements are kept.

However, seeing as how you’re using a commercial theme this could be very different and you would need to check any suplied licenses or ask the vendor about the specific terms for that theme.

In my opinion, that’s another big reason for either using themes and plugins off this site, or making them yourself. 🙂
