# [Theme: Fruitful] Remove Powered by WordPress

 * Hey guys –
 * website is [http://www.eatmise.com](http://www.eatmise.com)
 * Does anyone know how to remove the “Powered by WordPress” in the footer of the
   website? I looked at the footer PHP and the main index template and body template
   as well but could not find those lines – the footer PHP only contained the if
   loop for displaying social icons.
