  • I think I understand what I need, but I am not sure how to do it. Joshua Parker said:

“If “join” is not the slug to your BuddyPress registration page, then you need to update it. Also, for those of you who are not using multisite, bp-custom.php should be installed in the plugins folder and I would suggest renaming bp-custom.php to something like bp-custom.php and make sure to add the usually plugin header:”

I don’t know how to make join my slug. Is slug like a permalink. I am completely new to WP so any help is appreciated. Also, not sure what Multisite is.

    Thank you

@crp2100, if you created a registration page in the backend, then open that page as if you were going to edit it. It you don’t see the slug panel, then click on the screen options top located in the upper right corner of that page, select slug, and you should now see the slug that you need to copy and paste.

Thank you Joshua. It is working now!

If you could help me take it step further I would much appreciate it.
What I want it to do is go directly to a login page, then just have alink to the create an account if it is a new user, this would lead to a seperate account page.

Hope this makes sense and I’m not sounding too dumb for asking these questions.

    Thank you
