[Theme: Frisco for BuddyPress] Is it problematic to increase total site width?

  • Hi everyone!

I manage a site using the Frisco Theme and was using the default width of 960px, but because of a few extra tabs on the member page I had to increase this to 980px to avoid the tabs breaking into a second line.

Now, will this cause any other design problems? I haven’t seen any yet but am not very experienced with CSS yet. Does anyone know?

Depends on how your site is coded and set up. You’ll just have to test it. You could also look through the style.css file for any other widths set to 960 (or close to that) — to see if they may also need to be changed.

Hey what element did you edit to increase the size? Been trying to find this!
