# Theme: forever – custom header / footer

 * Hi all, I’m using the jetpack edit css to modify.
    But what I want to do is put
   the facebook and twitter logo on the footer, and to put a custom text like this:
 * click here for more info | Contact us
 * to the right side of the header, while the logo is on the left side?
    currently
   I have the logo on the left side.
 * I believe I have 2 ways to do this?
    #1 create a child template, and modify the.
   php, and also add some css into the editor? #2 find a custom header / footer 
   plugin?

 * You could definitely do either of the above. Of the two, I would probably go 
   with a child theme plus custom css. That way, if you wanted to make other template
   changes later on, you’d be able to do so with your child theme. 🙂

    I’m working on a child theme now, but if 
   you know of any plugins?? or examples of custom work?

 * I’d hate to ask, but also, the footer is lower, and should be closer to the top
   as well. if you know that variable, that would be double sweet!
