Theme for a forum

    I am very new to this whole WordPress thing. Never set up a web site before.
    I am looking for a theme to use with the idea being the whole focus is the forum
    I want to start.

    Has anyone got something like this up and running?
    Where can I look at it, etc.

    WordPress does not (yet) have native forum functionality.

    What script are you planning to use for your forum?

    I read that there are a couple of plug ins. bbpress, simple press.
    That work well with wordpress themes. I was assuming I could find a theme
    that lends it’s self to becoming a web site that has as it’s primary purpose
    a forum, not inlike the one we are using here.

    bbPress has its own Themes. For the time being, anyway, bbPress Themes are separate from WordPress Themes.

    SimplePress, I’m not sure about.
