Theme folder is hardened with index file, get error from CloudFront servers

  • Hi,

I need help to interpret and possibly fix an recurrent error in my error log.

    I will frequently get this:
client denied by server configuration: /home/user/mysite.net/wp-content/themes/mytheme/index.php

The IP corresponds to Amazon CloudFront servers abc123.cloudfront.net (see here) which I indeed use for my CDN.

The problem is 1) How can I be sure it’s legit (I think it is though).

How to allow CloudFront to access my index.php inside my theme folder. My whole theme folder has an empty index.php file to protect it.

By the way, nothing is broken. Everything seems ok.

    Thanks!

    P.
