Been trying to figure this out for hours and I’ve just been drowning in code =/

Here is a link to my site: http://thelittlestwinslow.com/

I want the hover color in the navigation changed to a shade of Orange (#f15a27). I screwed something up and changed the hover to gray?

In addition, I want to change the “current category” color to the same orange. And also the little mini category tags and the headlines (when you hover over them, I mean) to the same orange. (It matches my header).

I’m so confused and growing increasingly disheartened. I thought I’d be able to figure it out and I keep changing what I think is right and testing it out and just failing time and time again. Even things I changed away from gray are STILL appearing as gray. Very frustrating.

    Updates:

I’m now working on a Child theme of Expound. Because apparently that’s what I’m supposed to do? LOL

When I go into the editor, there’s no code there. I’m still looking to make the above changes, but none of the changes are showing through. Even before, when I was working on the main theme, I kept changing the hexi codes and I couldn’t even get colors to change? Which should be a simple thing.

    What am I missing here!?
