# Theme error — folder already exists

 * Hi —
 * I am trying to upload a premium theme to wordpress site. At first, I tried to
   upload what I hadn’t realized was a folder, not a zip. So I got the theme into
   a zip format. But then, when I tried to upload, I got an error message that said,“
   Destination folder already exists. … Theme install failed.”
 * Is there someway to clear out that folder and start over with the zip? Is that
   the problem or am I making an assumption that’s wrong and something else is going
   on.

 * Use your host’s file management interface or an FTP client to remove the folder.
