# Theme error

 * Hi,
 * I am new to working on the development end of WordPress. I just installed a new
   WordPress site in localhost. Everything was working fine, even after I migrated
   it (with help) it was working just fine when it went live.
 * Then I changed the permalinks settings and I got this error: Fatal error: Call
   to undefined function get_post_format() in /home/performance/www/www/wp-content/
   themes/matala/loop.php on line 39
 * This is a theme error. I found another forum topic on this, but no resolution.

 * All the pages are fine, but the blog won’t show up. And I’m getting the same 
   error on the back end under Theme Options.

   was introduced in [WordPress 3.1](http://codex.wordpress.org/Version_3.1).
 * Please verify the version of WordPress you’re using.
