 * Ok, I can’t work this out, only just started playing around with things, and
   using a pre-made theme.
 * Now, I’ve edited the CSS and validated it according to the website validation
on the test site for this theme, but under IE it’s not showing correctly, as
the sidebar is actually under the content boxes.
 * It works perfectly fine in Firefox, but the IE error I’ve no idea what to edit
on the CSS, so I’ll link you to the CSS file.

    Style.css:

 * This theme was running on wordpress 2.0.4, so the error is since then in IE,
but Firefox works fine as I’ve updated to 2.1 I know there is new tags, but it
seems to work fine other than that IE issue.
 * Thanks to any help that can be given.

 * Your borkage is caused by your padding.
 * As a start what you need to do is identify your major positioned elements eg
content and menu. You need to find anything which uses floats.
 * Then take out all the padding, margins and any borders in those elements. That
will fix it in all browsers. To add back your design features you can use classes
or add an inner div as needed.

 * Ok, I’m new to CSS editing, so I’ll do a google search for meanings to what you’ve
   just said.
 * Its not my theme, but I will consult the developer and see if he can help me,
since he never fixed them himself. But browsing through the CSS file, it looks
completely scrambled to what I’m used to seeing.
 * Apparently it’s fixed for IE7, but nothing under that which concerns me.

 * Could anyone recommend someone who’d help me with their time on correcting this?
I’d pay a little fee is needed, but I don’t have much money until pay day, but
   I could still send some.
 * I’d appreciate that, and until then I’m using another theme, while learning CSS
and how to code/create themes for my own personal knowledge.
 * Thanks to anyone who’d be willing to help the issues the theme has, works fine
in upto date IE7, but not under that.
 * My e-mail if anyone is able to help is: [valdrum@valdrum.co.uk](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-error-1/valdrum@valdrum.co.uk?output_format=md)
which is also my MSN address, feel free to contact me.
