Theme Editor Tab not there

  • I don’t know what version of the software I’m running. It was installed by my hosting company.

The Theme Editor Tab is not there. I can choose a Theme, but can’t edit it.

    What should I do?

    Help!

No that’s not it, that’s just a feed from the wordpress blog. If your hosting company installed it, I have a feeling it was wordpress mu which is different than the standalone wordpress. Look in the source code of you blog’s home page and look in the head section for something called generator.

It said I was using version 2.1

I’m not exactly sure how to tell if your using the standalone version or not. One thing you can check is if the actual theme files are writable by your server. Look here for what I mean.

Hello, I have the 2.5.1 version and in the Design panel, I only have this subpanels:
    Themes
    Widgets

Why I don’t have Theme editor and Header image and color?

    Please anyone can help me?
