 * Hiya
 * This site used to have the files viewable in the dashboard, but seems that no
   editor is showing?
 * I have tried to search for hacks to the functions.php file to view it as an administrator
   but see none of the code they talk about
 * The site in question is [http://storegrid.orangerocket.co.za/](http://storegrid.orangerocket.co.za/)
   which is on a test server to fix
 * Thanks for any help….

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * hi seems like the most viable thing to do, only thing is the plugins are so many
   baught plugins with **major** settings. One question if you can help, the only
   way i can do this without losing the settings…could i rename or delete the folders
   in FTP, and load them all back one by one, WITHOUT losing the settings?
 * Do you think this would work?
 * Thanks a lot!!!

 * If you reset the plugins folder as outlined on the page I linked to above, you
   should not lose any settings – at least not in any half-decent plugin.

 * I did that..it seems that this is one complicated theme, wasnt the theme or plugins.
   The theme WAS customized 🙁
