I am working with WooCommerce – Storefront – Child-Theme BOUTIQUE.
    I am a newbee.
I saw that there is on the dashbord the menu EDITOR.
With it, it is possible to modify the CSS of the child-theme Boutique, isn’t it?

    BUT

I have tried to make some changes DIRECTLY by modifying the CSS in the Editor. I received the answer: “File Edited Successfully”

But the changes I made are not visible on my site.

Did I made a mistake? Where?

Have I to make the changes only by using the “Additionnal CSS” menu on the “Appearance/customize” menu?

    Thank you.

You should not make any changes using the Appearance → Editor. Any changes you make will be lost the next time you update the theme. As you’ve noticed, any changes should be done using the Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.

What exactly are you trying to change? Maybe the rule that you entered does not have a high enough specificity to override an existing rule. Can you please post a link to your site and an example of what you are trying to change?
