 * I have wordpress v2.1 and have dropped in a new theme. While in the theme editor
   I can’t see to change the code. There is no “update file” or “save” button and
   every time I make a change, upon refresh the code reverts back. There is a blurb
   under the code window that reads… “If this file were writeable you could edit
   it”
 * What’s the problem? Thanks.

 * The files in your theme need write permissions added, see [http://www.dartmouth.edu/~rc/help/faq/permissions.html](http://www.dartmouth.edu/~rc/help/faq/permissions.html)
   for details on *nix permissions.

 * After any chmod do a hard reload (press F5) .
