• Hi Guys,

Completely new to the scene using CMS’s. I have installed wordpress via xampp and everything is great!

However I notice when choosing a theme>>downloading>>installing there is no errors! However when I view the theme on my browser it does not appear as it would do when viewing it before I downloaded it.

I have checked in xampp>>wordpress>>wp-content>>themes>>application and all seems correct. Just one folder with all the contents in, no folder within a folder.

The theme I have installed is called application.

I have currently disabled any widgets that were running too to test whether any conflicts with no luck.

What am I missing?? I am guessing because I am a n00b to WordPress its something simple. Help please…pulling my hair out here!!

and sorry i ment i disabled ALL PLUGINS to test if there were conflicts. excuse the typo! :/

It could just be a content issue. Maybee you need to add some pages, widgets etc to your site to make it look like the theme preview?

I thought that however, there is a slideshow on that theme, but an error message appears on the 404 so its not that :/
