[Theme: Disconnected] Widgets Disappear When I Try to Modify Them

  • SUMMARY OF PROBLEM: I am using the “Disconnected” theme, and when, from the Dashboard, I click on “Widgets” (the place where you can edit them and move them around), all previously arranged widgets disappear, both in the “Widgets” area and on the website itself.

DETAILS: I have 2 websites. Same hosting company, set up using WordPress. We’ll call one site AHOY and the other one T2. On AHOY, the hosting company is the registrar of the domain, the theme is the default “Twenty Ten”, and it’s running WordPress 3.0.4. The widgets on that one work fine.

On T2, the registrar of the domain is Godaddy, the theme is “Disconnected”, and it’s running WordPress 3.1.3. This is the one where the previous set-up widgets disappear when I go into the Dashboard page to edit them and I have to drag and drop them all over again.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a software problem? Or something else entirely?

Thank you in advance for any help!
