Hi. Experimenting with this theme at the mo.

Is it possible to change the images on the homepage (I’m using “magazine” style) so that instead of being the full images resized, they are thumbnails? i.e. to speed up page load massively.

I feel I’m missing something easy somewhere, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction quickly.

    Thanks!

Figured it out…. doh. Just set the small thumbnail as the featured image. 😀 Just need to remember to do that each time I post a post. Would be cool if there was a way to do this automatically on the homepage without having to set a featured image every time though, so if there’s an easy hack, please let me know.

Hmm, no not sure that’s the solution. Please can you explain the rules for how it assigns the image on the homepage? Sometimes it seems to use the featured image and other times it ignores it.

Meanwhile I’ll try with cache off and stuff. Confused.

You can use some auto featured image plugins to set featured image automatically 🙂
