Please go to Appearance > Header and you will get the Logo Upload Option.

The menu options for header and background image are not available for D5 template version 1.8. I found I had to upgrade to get to the logo options.
No, The Free Version also has the functionality of Custom Header ,Custom Background and Custom Menu. Please find it under Appearance
You can insert your logo using the Custom Header Option

It looks like that I can do this in the stylesheet. Now I am trying to find out, where in the code I can find out how big the Header is.
