[Theme Customizr] No matter what I edit the colors stay the same

I recently found the Customizr theme and really like it. I have a problem though. No matter what I change, the colors stay the same. If I go into the customizer itself and change it(no matter which color I select) it always stays white. I want black. I copy and pasted the original css(pasted it into custom css area) and replaced every color of white I could find with black and nothing. Still white. I even directly changed the theme files to no avail. I went back to my old theme for the time being but I would much rather have this one. I have checked on every browser, emptied the cache of both site and browsers. Anybody have any ideas?
