    Hi @joannaritsoni,

    Happy to clarify.

Short answer is: We don’t know.

GiveWP adheres to WordPress best coding practices otherwise it would not be allowed here in the WordPress plugin repository.

If the theme you are planning to use also adheres to those rules then it’s very likely it will work with GiveWP.

The nature of WordPress and open-source software in general means that there are millions of combinations of server configurations, third-party plugins, themes, and other variables. Ultimately that code is all the responsibility of the, you, the site owner, and there’s no way for us as a plugin shop to account for any and all circumstances.

    Thanks!

    Happy to clarify.

Any payment gateway you choose to use will charge their own payment processing fee per transaction. The only fees for processing donations that GiveWP charges are with the free Stripe payment gateway.

There are two options for connecting to Stripe with GiveWP:

**Stripe Free: GiveWP offers a free version of Stripe that you can connect to within the free version of GiveWP. This option includes an additional fee from GiveWP of 2% (on top of normal payment processing fees). More on Stripe free here: https://givewp.com/documentation/core/payment-gateways/stripe-free/ and here https://wordpress.org/plugins/give/#how%20do%20i%20eliminated%20the%202%25%20fee%20on%20stripe%20donations%3F

**Stripe Premium: This is our premium add-on for Stripe, where there is NO additional 2% commission fee. This premium add-on allows for Google and Apple Pay as well as some other additional functionality that’s not included in the free version of Stripe. More on the premium add-on here: https://givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/stripe-gateway/. A yearly license for GiveWP for the Plus Plan or the Stripe premium gateway will remove this 2% fee. You’ll need to make sure that your Stripe premium add-on is installed.

If you purchase any of our Plans, you’ll want to make sure to install and activate your Stripe Payment Gateway add-on to remove the 2% fee.
