Yes open style.css and remove lines under /* Mobile and handheld */

    Hi,
Yes, codium extended is a real beauty!
But I do have the same problem. I really need the header image to not get cropped on mobile devices. I have tried to type width:50% in the mobile/handheld section of the style sheet.css but its the same problem. I have noticed that many other themes just rescales the header image, just like I’d like it to be.

This is my site (based on codium extended but somewhat modified):

    The link disappeared…

Do you try to remove the /* Mobile and handheld */ in style.css?

Hi, yes. That works, then the whole page looks scaled down. I’d really like the look of the page with the /*Mobile and handheld*/ section left in the code. Except for that single thing about the header.
I realize I was wrong about the other themes I saw. They did not scale down the image. They have the same behaviour as codium extended.

Maybe it’s more or less impossible to accomplish this without cropping the header??? I’d love to show a version of the header that is scaled down about 50%….

Thanks for the fast reply, and for a very neat theme.

I love the look of the Codium theme and the Codium mobile interface. It’s clean and very appealing, but I miss the menu on the mobile version.

Is there any way that I can keep the cool, easy to read look of the mobile version but still allow users to have a menu?

Thanks again for creating a great theme.

Maybe in the next update, I know it’s a point I must work 🙂

I will release a new version (1.1.1) in the next hours with some great enhancement in the mobile and tablet view (add a nice menu), stay tuned!

I would really appreciate seeing a solution with the header image (and sidebar images) not being cut when viewed on a smartphone. It’s the one but big flaw with this theme, which I otherwise love and have installed for all my sites.

Is the reason why it’s hard to fix because the image is made as a background? (Maybe that’s also why you can’t click on it to go “home”, which is otherwise common practice.) I see on your own site you made the 2803 logotype small and left-justified to work around the problem (?), but I want a big banner. 🙂

But the sidebar images should be able to scale just like the post images are, no?

Anyway, thanks for making a great and free theme, but these are my wishes for fixes!

Edit: An OK alternative would be to let the mobile version use a text header instead of the header image, that’s lighter data-wise as well for my site’s smartphone visitors. (But the header image should still show up on regular computers.) Maybe someone can advise how to fix such a thing, it doesn’t seem hard but I’m no expert…
