Support » Plugin: Theme Check » Theme Check doesn’t recognize that I have the correct text domain filled in

  • Hi, I’m creating a theme and developing it locally. I keep getting this error:

    This theme text domain does not match the theme’s slug. The text domain used: This theme’s correct slug and text-domain is rpcbase.

    But I do have the text domain defined, I have no idea why it isn’t being recognized. For some reason Theme Check thinks it’s empty. Here’s my stylesheet header (removed some identifying info):

    /*
    Theme Name: RPCBase
    Author: Author Name
    Text Domain: rpcbase
    Author URI: example.com
    Description: Description
    Version: 0.0
    License: GNU General Public License v3
    License URI: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html
    Tags: accessibility-ready, custom-logo, custom-menu, editor-style, featured-images, rtl-language-support, translation-ready
    */

    Thanks!
