Theme changes to default & visual editor missing

  • I have just upgraded to 2.2.1 as part of some other changes resulting from a problem I was having with my host complants about server load issues, the installation of WP-Cache seems to have taken care of that problem.

My real problem now is that the blog keeps switching back to the default theme, and when I go back to the Theme Manager, it shows the dafault theme at the top. I have a custom theme (journalized-blue) that I use for my primary theme, but I do have a theme changer so users can chose another option. Anyone know why this keeps changing on its own?

Another thing, the WYSIWYG editor is missing all of the tools (b, i, link etc.), this started happening after I upgraded to the 2.3.1 yesterday.
