    I am new to wordpress and just a quick question. How long does it 
   takes me to change for a new template and will it effect my content?

 * it takes as long as however long it takes you to upload the theme and activate
   it.
 * themes affect how content is displayed. thats why theyre called themes.

    i have been trying to change my background colour. i did something and now
   when i go to edit my stylesheet i get a blank page. help! when i try to change
   themes to reset i still get the blank page malcolm

 * i have a saved template that i am practicing on. i am dismantling it by degrees
   and trying to change thing.
    i know the last thing i did was paste a code for
   background colour in a few places to see if i could trigger the change i was 
   looking for but now i can’t get to the editing page. when i do it is just a blank
   white page!!!
