Wow, just love this theme, have played around with it quite a bit, learned all the basic functions & managed to get some great added features with plugins but I need some help with setting up a child theme. Yes, yes, I know I should have done this already but I’m brand new to website development & not so comfortable with trying my hand at code.
I created the proper directory file, named it & tried to pull in the style sheet but child theme doesn’t look the same as parent when I do a live preview. So here’s what I did in the file:
/* Theme Name: Catchbox Child Description: My first child theme Author: Christine Version: 1.0 Template: catch-box */ @ import url("../catch-box/style.rtl.css");
So what did I do wrong? I’d love to make a couple of customizations, e.g., social media buttons in header, so please advise.
Thanks in advance for any & all tips & help!
