    Those are actually borders on various elements…see this post:

    Try using Firebug to identify which CSS code you need to modify to get rid of them.

    Or if you post a link to your site, someone may be able to give you more specific help.

    Oh cool, thanks WPyogi!
    I got some of them out of there.
    Here’s the site I’m working on: http://www.hyphaltrelli.net/chitchat/
    I’m also trying to get rid of “posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off”, and essentially everything else besides the content of posts and pages. I’m getting there slowly, but any insight to that would be so beautiful.

    Remaining border is here:

    .hentry {
        border-top: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
        padding: 18px 20px;
    }

    You should be able to get rid of the “posted in” by adding to your style.css file:

    .entry-utility, .cat-links, .meta-sep, .comments-link {
       display: none
    }

    But doing the above will hide any of those on all pages — is that what you want?

    Yeah that’s it! Thank you! I really appreciate your generous help.
