Support » Theme: Twenty Seventeen » Theme breaks Wysiwyg image resizing

  • Using twentyseventeen theme, I notice that resizing images in the editor doesn’t work anymore. That is, the resizing handles on images in posts can be manipulated to resize an image, but when released, the image pops back to the size it was originally displayed. Curiously, the image itself is actually resized in the html view, but in the WYSIWYG view, the image remains unchanged. I think this might be due to the “width: inherit” line in the following css – when I uncheck that line in the Chrome Inspector, the WYSIWYG works again. Does this look like the right thing to do, that is to edit this css file? Is there anyway to confirm that this is a bug, or am I mistaken about the true cause. Do others have the same issue? Any help is greatly appreciated!
