Hi,
Try to switch to a default theme and let me know if it’s still happening. 🙂

Hardeep
Hi
Could you expand what you mean by default theme?
I would ideally want to continue to use Zerif Lite.

Hi,
Twenty Fourteen is a default theme. I know you want to use Zerif Lite, but I asked you to turn to a default theme just to check if it’s an issue with our theme (Zerif Lite) or if it is also happening with other themes. 🙂
Regards,
Hardeep
HI Hardeep,
WordPress 4.2.2
Theme: Twenty Fourteen
I’m having a similar, but perhaps not the same, problem with the built-in Twenty Fourteen theme. I am self-hosting, but without a certificate. I am using Pagekite.me to tunnel my site. Pagekite provides the https.
Is this a supported configuration? I get nearly identical behavior as described above.
this is the first error in the Javascript console:
…/”wp-includes/js/wp-emoji-release.min.js?ver=4.2.2′. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.”
— Mike
Does the error also happen with this plugin installed and active?
