• Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me out.

I want to just have a summary of my post on the home page, then a link that you could click on (or the heading) that would take you to a page where the full post would be displayed. Then I could maybe have a limit of about five posts per the home page, with an ‘older posts’ button or something similar.

I tried adding a new page manually, and that worked but added a tab with the post heading next to the ‘about section’ which I don’t want. Apologies if this has been a addressed previously on this board – I had a look through and couldn’t see anything. I’m also a complete newbie to wordpress, so don’t really know what i’m doing as far as code and all that stuff goes. There is a link to my site below.

  • What you want is under the General Settings > Reading. This is not dependent on Blaskan and should work on all themes! You don’t need to create a new page.

Ninja edit: I see you’ve found the options already! I’ll keep this post here so others can see as well.

Hi, I’m experiencing the same issue. I had switched the setting to summary in General Settings > Reading with no luck.

How did you guys solved this? I can’t get the “Continue reading” -option there.
Already switched the Settings -> Reading
