[Theme: Avada] How do I vertically center a ul menu? (6 posts)

    I'd like to center the portfolio tabs menu (ul) on the following website

    This is a screenshot of the website + the code.

    The theme used for the website is Avada 2.1.3 on WordPress 3.5.1.

    I've tried text-align: center; but it doesn't do the trick.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Are you posting here because your theme's vendors do not provide you with support?

    I'm posting here because my theme's vendors provide crappy support.

    Thanks for establishing that.

    Try adding this CSS:

    .portfolio-tabs {
     display: table;
     margin: 0 auto;

    We can recommend CSS fixes, but for anything more sophisticated you'll need the support of your theme's vendors because we aren't given access to commercial code, so we wouldn't know the fix.

    You can always ditch that theme and go with one available on WordPress.org or hire someone to do the work for you.

    The CSS unfortunately did not do the trick.

    I've invested quite a lot of time and some money into this theme and am not going to ditch it that easily.

    There has to be a way to fix this, with a little help I'll find it.

    Anyone else?

    I came across this post because I was searching for info on the Avada Portfolio pages sub menu.

    To reply to your question... the positioning of that menu is somewhere in the css. Finding where that happens is the trick. I have found Firebug (in Firefox) to be a great help for hunting down such things. I poked around a little and did not find an answer however.
