[Theme: Adamos] Active menu items not working

I’m using the Adamos theme, and if a menu item has child (dropdown) items, the active state only appears on the actual page button, not the parent menu button. Regardless of the level of the page, the top level menu item should still be in its active state when a visitor is on a page in that group. Can someone take a look at this?
